The Latest From Heart of the Word

Please come back to this space in October as we're preparing a page to speak in depth and share memories about all George has meant to Pastor Ron's ministry, as well as that of Compassion Ministries / Heart of the Word Radio.  Before David Harms, Pastor George was the voice of the Heart of the Word Radio for many, many years.  He was also the sound engineer at Beaverton Foursquare for most all of the years Pastor Ron served the congregation. Additionally, he served as a pastor on staff and performed many pastoral duties, including counseling and speaking.

As well, George was a scholar when it came to Israel - and if you have been on any of the Israel trips with my dad when he was alive, or with us as Compassion Ministries on trips I have led since his passing, you know how knowledgeable and learned George was with respect to the Holy Land. George helped on all 6 of the Compassion Ministries trips we have taken, and came along with us on 5 of them, until his health did not permit.
